Best moving service I have used, and I've moved house a few times. I had one container with them from Dunedin to Napier, took exactly a week. Nothing was damaged, and I had items like monitors, bicycles and the like. There were multiple members moving items which I found very efficient. They were talkative and friendly. I would use them again.

Everything went smoothly with my move from Dunedin to Hamilton! Friendly staff and very supportive! Totally recommended!

While a cheap service, be prepared to wait a long time to get furniture. Communication has been poor, no replies to some emails, forgetting to call me back when asked. Currently been waiting 2 months for a bed from Dunedin to Auckland that I was told would be UP TO 4 weeks. Failed to communicate with me that they don't have enough containers to transport items. Would have been nice to know this from the start as I would have chosen another company. I had to call them for updates which you would think would be their job to keep their customers in the loop. I don't believe anything they say about delivery dates now, no confidence that they'll even be able to deliver for the next month either. Pay for what you get in my opinion. I do understand that covid has slowed down transport immensely but they have not communicated this with me at all so have given me false hope from the get go. Go somewhere else and pay the extra price.

Excellent team. Started out at 5am for a three hour drive upcountry. Very hard working, polite and really helpful all through. Unloaded at a really tricky address without complaint and worked swiftly without any fuss. Obliging whenever we asked something particular, like stacking boxes in rows so we could see the content labels. I would use them again and highly recommend the Dunedin team.Simon the team manager taught us how to pack items securely and never quibbled when we asked for more boxes or packing paper.

Dunedin team were extremely efficient and organised. Couldn't have asked for better. Still waiting on update on possessions leaving NZ but with covid I know it's a bit slower at present so all good

I've had Allied twice now for my move, first was from Palmerston North to Dunedin, and second was Dunedin to Christchurch. Both experiences were top notch, they are super fast, efficient, they handled my things with care, even wrapped my mirrors in old blankets which I was chuffed about and popped into boxes, communicative with when my things will arrive. They are also so friendly too which is so refreshing and makes that experience worth while and trusting. I highly recommmend im not using anyone else

A friendly and helpful service. They arrived when they said they would and delivered my daughter's items much earlier than they had originally estimated. We would definitely use them again.

Moving is stressful. Allied Moving Services were sympathetic to this and in addition, were much better value than other companies I researched.

I cannot overstate how terrible my experience with AMS was.We had an agreed delivery date, and I had driven from Christchurch to Dunedin to unpack my things. Not only did they not tell me they could not deliver that day. When I called them to ask what was going on they would not let me know they were not going to deliver that day.I spent a whole day and then some waiting for them to call me. Later the next day they said they could not deliver my things. I ended up staying in a hotel.The pick up and delivery crews did their job well, but the customer service was beyond awful.
