Mantells Tamaki Drive

We had our wedding at Mantells Tāmaki Drive last weekend and it was the best day of our lives. Jane, Johnny and Tania were so helpful from the very beginning of our planning process - they were attentive, gave us great advice and were so easy to communicate with. Nothing was impossible for them, and our wedding day was flawless. The food was exquisite (our guests are still raving on about it) and the staff at Mantells took such good care of us. We were always greeted with a smile and the venue looked absolutely gorgeous. We are so grateful to you guys, thank you for everything.

Our wedding was perfect, the staff at mantells were amazing, the food was delicious and the venue is stunning. Planning was a breeze with Jane responding to all my emails, for a stress free beautiful wedding with great food and atmosphere I highly recommend Mantells. With lots of photo spots right out the front, and lots of nearby accomodation for travelling guests it is perfect!

Great venue for a Christmas function. Staff were attentive however at 9.10pm the tables were cleared , of even the water glasses(not offered more water).Would have been lovely to see at least one Christmas tree or table Christmas decoration .Plenty of room for both .

Excellent venue for a wedding reception. Fantastic food and great selection of alcohol. Ample parking.

I just want to say what an amazing night that was had for the couple.Your services and professionalism just added to the night that was already special and you turned it into something spectacular!!!!To me, your vision of 'getting it right' for the client shone through. I thought to myself, what a special place with special people behind the scenes.You did not seem phased by last minute changes, and were so helpful when things were a little askew. This was so appreciated by myself and DJ Trev, photographers and videographers.It's clear to see you value people, you love to help bring their day to life, and be part of creating that magic. It's one day to pull it off, no going back and re-doing things, and as a result... the couple I married are so blown away and were impressed with the team they had on the day. Great work!!!!Oh, and I love that you both were decorating the cake for the couple too, sooo sweet..hahaha. Talk about go the extra mile :-)

We had our wedding reception here and it was absolutely perfect. The team on the night were so friendly, providing the most excellent service. Johnny & Jane were wonderful to deal with in the lead up, accommodating our requirements and assisting us with all the finer details. The food was incredible - so delicious and executed perfectly. The ambience at the venue was better than we imagined. Thank you for a wonderful experience & for making our wedding so special - a night we will cherish for years to come.

Our daughter's wedding was held here at the weekend. What a great venue, many guests commented on the excellent food and attentive service. The whole event was here: drinks in the cosy bar with gas fire, before the ceremony in front of one of the magnificent windows, sunset photos of the newlyweds just across Tamaki Drive by the harbour, while the guests enjoyed tasty hors d'oeuvres and pre-dinner drinks, and then the splendid meal of shared plates and tasty desserts. Dancing followed and then more help by the staff with the housekeeping at the end of the evening.Thoroughly recommended. Thanks Mantells

We visited Mantells Tamaki Drive as a wedding venue option. We didn't need to look any further, Jane and Johnny were so nice to deal with. We loved the venue, their approach leading up to it made us comfortable we made the best decision.The way they presented the room was incredible, their polite staff to the little touches of making sure 'we' were looked after over the course of the night - our guests with dietary requirements were taken care of with to the point where they felt special and not an inconveinence. We even were sent off with a picnic basket of things while we went off for our photoshoot.The kids went home with a few dessert boxes, they packed everything up at the end of the night and this made the pick up so much easier.It's hard enough to organise a wedding...let alone during the height of a pandemic, the last minute guest changes, the questions we had on 'whats ifs' they were so accommodating, calm and flexible - this made our choices so much easier - made our wedding day a memorable one.
