A thoroughly enjoyable Thai meal - the larb gai (minced chicken salad) was a stand out. They also have hard to find dishes such as Lard Na, Yen Ta Fu and Moo Khao. One of the better and properly authentic Thai spots if you order the right things.

More than excellent !!! This is my favourite Restaurant in Dunedin, operated by Thai owners. Authentic Thai cuisine with A+ service to go with it. I highly recommend Asian Star food. The amount of every meals are plenty and reasonable price.So many variety of meals on the menu such as stewed pork leg on rice , stir fry seafood with curry powder, Tom yum soup etc . Amy is the best manager , she has the best customer service and beautiful smile.

Always got surprised when we try the new taste here. I recommend all the dishes which come with soup.They can cook extra spicy, my husband love it much.Thanks for the wonderful service! This is the place I will always come back.

We chose this restaurant based on it's 4.9 star rating and it certainly lived up to that. The food was absolutely delicious, the best and most authentic Thai food we've had in a while and the quantities were really generous. The service was quick and friendly. Thank you, will definitely come next time we're in Dunedin.

Fantastic food! I highly recommend, easily one of the best meals I've had in Dunedin. I'll definitely be back to try the Pad Thai.

A good restaurant for a quick lunch. A wide range of Asian dishes, predominantly Thai, but they also offer other Asian dishes. As with many restaurants, lunch prices are not expensive, and you pay a little more for dinner. I had the Prawns Pad Thai noodles, and it was very good. Six medium vnami Prawns with tasty noodles and more than sufficient for lunch. Also had the cashews Prawns lunch on Saturday, and it was very good. Happy to visit again. Thank you.
