Had a booking for 30+ people. Saw great reviews so had high hopes. Upon arrival it took at least 30 to 45 mins to get our orders taken, which we had to keep chasing them up. This was so badly organized it was so disappointing! My husband and I ordered 1 entrée and a main each. We did not get our main until about 2 hours after we ordered, which was very nice. Our entrée showed up about 2.5 hours later and it was burnt and covered in a powder that caused me to cough and I could not eat it. My niece who is 8, was one of the last to get her meal which to me was absolutly disgusting she is a child, they also forgot to send her entrée. They also had no idea who ordered what and they even sent desserts over that no one ordered but still charged people who were sitting next to them. They knew that had a full house so they should have had more then one server for us. I would not go there if you have a large event. The atmosphere was ruined by this. I will never go back again.

What a great new place. Sure the service is a bit eccentric, but lovely lady taking the orders, and fantastic quality Indian food makes for a top experience. Better than their predecessor Little India. Great chefs and great portion sizes with the chefs special genuinely interesting each time. It’s starting to get a good following. Support these guys!

The food was exceptionally good. We go out for indian food a lot. This definitely is one of the best places. We got Chicken Madras and Chicken Korma, both medium spicy, and naan. It was perfectly spicy and very aromatic.The service is friendly and attentive, even towards our little son.We'll be happily dining there again.

Friendly and kind staff. The dark decor is a bit daunting from outside but once inside it's pretty cosy. My eggs Benedict were nice, although a bit cold and the hollandaise sauce seems a bit fake, it wasn't running like a sauce but rather like a paste. Overall it was a nice breakfast :)

This restaurant serves authentic Indian cuisine in a great relaxed setting with very friendly and attentive staff. We ate here on a number of occassions and were never disappointed. So fresh and delicious. Staff always made you feel welcome and the service was timely. We travel to India often and the food at the Table is like being there. As a Cafe also they have western style offerings. Visit the Table for your 'Indian' foodie experience in downturn Auckland you won't be disappointed.

Amazing butter chicken lunch special! I was worried the curry portion was a bit small, but butter chicken is so rich that it is probably for the best health wise. I appreciated the generous naan portion. Bread is cheap and some Indian places charge a lot for it, but this was perfect for collecting the last of the sauce.

Awesome dinner overall. Delicious food and incredible service. We had the butter chicken and the Madras chicken, both of which were great. It also is a ton of food. Would definitely come back. The staff there are also super friendly.

Worst curry I have ever had. Ordered the medium chicken jalfrezi and got frozen vege in a flavourless sauce that tasted sour. Do not get!

Do not expect these people to honestly respect special meal requests. I ate there one day spelling out meal requirements. They provisioned nicely. I went a couple of days later - same specifications. After waiting over an hour, some guy finally brought my meal. “That looks like it has tomato in it. That’s an issue for me as previously discussed.” “No there is no tomato”. A bare faced lie. Still dealing with the after effects. No scruples. Don’t trust them

Lovely meal for a really good price. Food was perfect and the staff were really nice and had good attention to detail. Definitely going to be back
