Hayman Park
This park was next to my apartment when I came to Manukau on my work trip. It is such a relaxing place, I could spend the morning sitting there watching the ducks float around the pond. This is one of the places that I miss visiting. Only complaint is the smaller pond having a load of trash in it, even saw a shopping trolley in it. Regardless, loved chilling next to the duck pond.

Quite a great central city park. There are a few things that are being worked on like a Basketball court and toilets. It does have quite a few things going for it. It has quite secluded areas, a skate park, cafes at the MIT building, plenty of parking, a few ponds that the kids can feed the ducks, even saw a few locals fishing in the ponds and bringing up fish to eat.

This place is where I walked my dog TJ every week end. It's a beautiful park if every1 that walk their dogs there takes some responsibility. By taking along some bags to pick up their dogs businesses and dispose of them properly. Some days there are lots of food packaging being left around by those that eat in their cars & don't do the right thing even though there are rubbish bins nearby. It only takes a few to ruin a beautiful park for everyone else!

Kids love this place. Right in central Manukau. Ducks, ducklings, fish and eels. Bring a loaf of bread

Fairly large park down the road from the Manukau Shopping Center. It has quite a lot of grassy area to sit and chill. Theres also a pond in the middle. They are currently fixing up the skae park so there is a huge section that is blocked off. The area on the Shopping Center side looks nicer and has a few plaques around.

Love walking around this park weekly it's a pity the toilet block is locked could do with it been open even just as a shelter area.

Waitangi Day here was pretty special, well set up free water trucks great entertainment and good food though a bit pricey, expected on a public holiday i guess. Great event well organised thanks to Auckland Council the NZ Police, Maori TV, the performers and those who made it happen, truly appreciated. 1814 were the best!

Beautiful park with lots of green open space. There's a big pond with ducks, a childrens play ground & skate park nearby. Lots of shade under the gum trees.

Not the same, too much noise around now, it use to be more private too...
