Hahei Explorer Cathedral Cove Boat Tour
We had a fantastic trip - Oscar really knew his stuff and was (obviously) a great skipper. He got us to all the places we wanted to go - the blowhole was outstanding. The shore crew were excellent also.

Hahei Explorer Cathedral Cove Boat Tour
We went on this boat trip in 2019, as recommended by the place we were staying. We really enjoyed it, especially the cave with the blowhole and Cathedral Cove. I was unfortunately in the place in the boat where I got wet, but it didn't spoil my enjoyment of the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Great experience and awesome value for what Tom our skipper/guide packed into the hour and a bit excursion. Says a lot about a trip when Cathedral Cove is not the highlight which for me was the amazing blowhole cave which most boats can't get into.Having been to Hahei a lot over the years it's not something we would normally do but so glad we did. Would recommend to international and domestic visitors alike.

Incredible tour! Skip the extra hour you need if you leave full Whitianga and just go straight from Hahei Beach. The guides are knowledgeable, entertaining, and truly excellent helmsman.You see so much more of the coastline including caves and blowholes than you can from the shore.

We were initially cautious to bring our almost 2 year old out on a boat tour, glad we did though! She was super engaged and had a fun time building confidence on the water. A professional and fun team and a must do for any age group. Great knowledge of the area too.

We loved this boat ride, our guide (Harry) had lots of great chat and knowledge of the surrounding areas. We got to see the cathedral cove which is no longer accessible by other means and see other beautiful areas along the coast - highly recommended

Great way to see cathedral cove and the surrounding area. We were able to go into a few caves which was really neat. Also saw some fish through the very clear water. The captain, Oscar, also provided some local info and history.

Hahei Explorer Cathedral Cove Boat Tour
This tour was great fun. Even better than the Shotover Jet!!! We had Oscar as our skipper and he did an incredible job getting our boat into amazing caves and then turning the boat in such tight spaces to get us out again (also through really narrow tunnels). The sights were incredible and even the boat ride to see them was great fun (especially with a bit of a swell to make it more exciting). Thanks guys.

Hahei Explorer Cathedral Cove Boat Tour
Amazing trip on a chilly yet sunny winter's day. Got to see incredible sea caves, crystal water, dolphins, and the famous Cathedral Cove with untouched sand (due to being closed to the public after the cyclones). Our driver and guide was very knowledgeable about the history of each place which added richness to the tour and made for a great outing.
