My GMG experience commenced 2015 with the purchase of a Davy Crockett model, since then I've upgraded to a stainless grill and fire box. The DC suits my needs although have thought about up grading to the Daniel Boone for extra room in the oven.The service from GMG NZ via Bowen is outstanding, for example I broke the connection cord from the transformer to the unit, Bowen replaced for free.I have 4 BBQs and cook regularly on the DC, family favourite are baby back ribs but have had real success with brisket, short ribs, chicken, top side. I cure my own bacon and pastrami, I finish both products off on the DC for added flavour. I generally make up my own rubs, or copy recipes from you tube.Its a great unit, I went to the meat-fest in Auckland and saw the GMGs working well there.

Best BBQ I have (out of 3). Does everything it says on the box.

Contacted GMG about their products still being sold when they are 10 months after their best before dates. No reply at all. Obviously they don't care.....

Most lovable feature is Wireless connectivity. I can watch rugby on my couch while keeping a check on the smoker.

Awesome products. I have a Daniel Boone grill and it is so easy to use. Rubs and sauces are really good

I own the Jim Bowie. Gives most fantastic flavour to the food. And I can control it from my phone while sipping my beers.

Great products for the low and slow BBQing - Used the Dry rub pork on some St Louis pork ribs came out amazing! great bark! Deffanitly on my list to get one of their Pallet grills! Nick
