Our recent stay over the Christmas period in one of the cottages was fantastic. Lovely and relaxed setting, but so many activities available for our children to to do. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and very flexible for our group's needs.

The grounds are amazing and have lots of things to keep the kids busy.The Family running the lodge are some of the kindest people I have ever met, they helped us with everything we needed and really saved us. Thank you for everything. From Kathryn & the boys

Fabulous find. We pulled in to check the place out and ended up staying. So peaceful with the trees and birdlife. An excellent location with walks, confidence course, flying fox, playground and water slide. Excellent facilities which were very clean. Would love to camp there again. Lots of cabins available for those who don't tent. I can see while schools use it for camps.

Kevin was an exceptional host who had no problems with our tramping group arriving late at night. It was a very cold night so he thoughtfully turned on the heat pump in the lodge. Kevin upgraded our accomm which was very much appreciated. Will definitely stay again.

Nice place, good facilities, cheap price and a lot of space for yourself. Additionally to tenting, you can also sleep in cosy cabins. Kevin our host was really kind and considerate. Thanks:)

The best place we’ve stayed so far in NZ ! The site manager was amazing, let us use one of the cabins (we paid for an unpowered site) as they were empty and it was a cold night! He gave us a tour of the place and made sure we were comfortable. Huge super clean kitchen that had everything we could need. Bathrooms were also super clean and unlimited hot showers that were lovely ! No service on site but had strong wifi around kitchen and lounge area. Manager also offered that if there is an emergency and we need to use a phone we can always use their landline, which was very comforting! 10/10 recommend.

We called to book a tentsite in advance, but as we where checking in very late at 10pm, he just upgraded us to a cabin for free!! He is a very nice and funny guy who showed us around even at that time. Great facilities and they even have free wifi.
