We were planning on undertaking a major renovation of our house. Nicci really helped us reflect on how we used our space at the moment and why we were doing the renovation. Nicci really listened to us and understood what we were trying to achieve through the renovation. She came up with some creative alternatives, that were much simpler and that better addressed why we were wanting to make the changes. We also saved thousands that would otherwise have gone on a costly renovation. As well saving a ton on the renovation costs and stress, we’ve now got a much more workable solution which we’re really happy with. Thoroughly recommend Nicci and the services she provides!

Nicci at Homes with Soul helped us with the interior decoration for the large open-plan living space in a newly-bought house. She listened to what we wanted, and developed a mood board centred around a planned piece of art for the space - including suggestions for furniture and soft furnishings. She helped us choose paint colours (for the living space and a bedroom) and assisted with finalising flooring selection before we moved in.Nicci met us at Stax Furniture and worked with us to select couches, a dining table, occasional chairs and side tables. She did a house visit to select fabrics and decide on the right size and configuration of couches for our unusually-shaped space, and design a matching bespoke ottoman. She also arranged for curtains and blinds to be made up to complement the space, helping with fabric selection and organising the curtain-maker.Nicci was professional and friendly throughout, and also went above and beyond on two occasions:- when there were pandemic-related delays getting the fabric for the couches, she worked with the furniture-maker to expedite completion as soon as the fabric was available, and the couches were delivered two months earlier than we’d been told to expect, in time for Christmas.- when we noticed significant defaults in the surface of the new dining table, she immediately worked with the furniture company to arrange a replacement table, making the process smooth and extremely simple for us.With lockdowns and a busy life (on our part!) causing some delays, overall the process took just over a year, from concepts to installation of the last curtains. We are extremely happy with the results! I would work with Nicci again and have already recommended Homes with Soul to friends.

After moving to a new house I was looking for someone to help provide me with some ideas on interior design for our living area space. I got in touch with Nicci who provided me with some fantastic initial ideas to have a think about. Following this Nicci took me shopping to scope out new furniture and accessories. I loved how Nicci is so personable and really takes notice of what aspects you like and don't like. The ideas she came up with for our living space was spot on and I can't wait to see the finished project! I would highly recommend Nicci no matter how big or small your project is.

Nicci has helped me with 3 projects over the past few years. I love working with her - she gets me and my style and helps shape my ideas into a cohesive design that is both beautiful and practical. I love my new look bedroom and bathroom.Nicci project managed the refresh end-to-end. As a full-time working parent it was fantastic to just place my trust in Nicci to do the research, planning, design, arranging quotes and making sure the tradies were bringing her plans to life. Without her, I would be paralysed by choice and lack of time, and the renovation would not have even been started.

When we started, our home was a bland collection of soul-less white rooms. With Nicci’s amazing help and support, we’ve been able to completely turn it around into a place that we can truly feel at home in. She helped us with everything: from remodelling our bedroom to painting the walls with colours that lighten the space and give it life. It is amazing how much of a difference this makes. After having lived in rentals for so long, we had forgotten what it is like to live in a space that you can truly call your own, and we couldn’t have gotten there without Nicci’s amazing help. She was incredibly supportive, keenly listening to our needs and desires and finding amazing and creative solutions. Nicci took most of the stress out of the project by helping with the entire management and arrangement side of things, which was a great relief for us. Every time an unexpected complication arose, she was ready to tackle it and sort it out. Now we want to hire her again to help us with the office!

Nicci is very professional and talented at what she does. We had her visit at our first house a really small home, and then at our second house which is the opposite - really big. We struggled to settle into the big place, and after 3 years sought Nicci's opinion. Nicci gave us some great ideas about using our current space in different ways and also gave us a gentle nudge that perhaps we could save money on renovations by looking elsewhere. That is what we've done. We couldn't be happier. It was an unexpected path for us and we are not sure we would have arrived at that place without her gentle observation. Thanks Nicci!!

Nicci is worth every dollar - and saved me a heap of them as well! I'd highly recommend her service for her pragmatic and honest approach, and fantastic eye for interior design. She was able to provide me with honest advice about my grand plans, helping me add value to my home by spending my money wisely. She helped me get a really clear idea of what I wanted to achieve with my home, and then delivered on finding the right items to make it all a reality. I'm hoping to use her services again in the near future to sort out my back deck! She is a wonderful soul to have around the place, just an all-round legend :)

Prior to using Nicci , I had spent a lot of time trying to work out how to refresh the curtains (fading), our carpet ( tired) and rather bland paintwork. I knew about her understanding of colour from a close friend so I trusted Nicci would work out something that worked . That confidence was not misplaced!Finding a rug that would tie our room together (and that both Graeme and I would like) was impressive. Even more so, was being able to tie in a couple of paintings which our daughter had created over the years. Selecting the colour for the feature wall was an act of faith (never thought I would have a greenish feature wall!) - but what really impressed us was just how smoothly everything went from there. Having previously project -managed redecorating that space ourselves some years prior, the ease with which Nicci and her team of excellent tradies completed the myriad of tasks is something neither Graeme nor I will ever forget. The project was made more difficult by the impact of Covid-related shortages and delays but despite this, our living room has a welcome coherency.I appreciate the thought Nicci put into the final dressing of our space. She managed to add softening touches which Graeme nor I would have thought of adding - but which we both really like. I feel the result of all Nicci's work is that we have an interesting, relaxed space which reflects 2 very different personalities.

We recently purchased a beautiful 1920s house that is a real fixer-upper. Nicci was great at helping us decide the best use for the different rooms and where to target our limited funds. It was nice to bounce ideas off someone with design experience.
