Wonderful caring staff, well cared-for animals.

Not really impressed, no follow up on my complaint. The cat i complained about is still in the box 24/7 so I guess no one has been to check out the property.

Fantastic staff doing an amazing job. Plus, adorable animals. 10/10 would pet again.

I have now given my voluntary services every Monday 9- 12 pm the staff are super friendly and welcome newcomers like me. The rooms with the animals are absolutely spotless the animals are happy I was working my first time the kittens puppies play or sleep. Its a top SPCA IN NZ cant wait for Monday again Joy

You don’t even deserve one star. I’ve emailed you guys about the unprofessional treatment I received by one of your staff members was shocking. Thanks to her the puppy is dead now. I understand why there are so many private rescues now. You leave them no choice but to do it without government funding.

I love and respect the work of the SPCA and their volunteers so I didn't give a low rating, but I am pretty upset to be told today that because I couldn't sight the abuse of an abused puppy that my neighbour and I could clearly hear, I was told it was a noise issue for Napier City Council. This is disinformation. If there is neglect or abuse going on in a property with an animal then it needs to be investigated by the SPCA. Thankfully The Napier City Council are going to go and investigate the abuse, so thanks for nothing ☹️

Staff super friendly! So stoked we adopted our beautiful girl Amber. Was easy to book a visit to meet our pup. Payment and picking her up was also a breeze.

I secured three roaming dogs yesterday all of them extremely underweight. I have been asking the SPCA to attend to these dogs for months and months now. The other day I got told if I can't see the abuse then ring the council. Well I managed to secure them yesterday, they were very friendly although very very underweight and collars way too tight. So we fed them on the side on the foot path and waited for NCC.Thankfully the council picked them up so now I don't have to worry about hearing them cry and howl all the time now. Phoned pound later and checked on them and they were doing good.SPCA told me this was an open case that they were still investigating. Well these dogs looked like they stepped out of a concentration camp with collars so tight their heads were about to pop off, so I don't know what the SPCA was doing with these dogs at all, but it has made me lose faith in this organization altogether.

They take such good care of the fur babies abandoned and unloved but once their team works their magic everyone wants to adopt!!!!
