The food was awesome, very large. Has a beautiful outdoor area as well. Great place for a family wanting to go to dinner.Not to mention the staff, very friendly.

Restaurant offers pub style dishes. Highly recommend the lamb shanks. Lovely bar staff, food always on point. I've never stayed before but I have heard its nice.

Still a great destination for lunch or dinner, road trips or just meeting up for drinks. Great parking, great menu, great (big!) food and great service. Will be back real soon.

Stopped off here for dinner on our way to Auckland. Busy for a Tuesday night and could see why. The meals were delicious and big! Pork ribs were so good as was the seafood basket. No wait for our food which was even better.

Bloody Awesome. Megan deserves credit for her work. I was running very late after a very long day and had never been here before. Good communication, she came out and waved me down, had a fantastic late dinner for me, greeted me with a friendly smile. I even slept in the next morning the bed was so comfy. I liked the old school feel to the place.

This place never disappoints, we come along time and time again and have such a great experience. Love the chef, he is brilliant, meals are large but tasty and great qualityRenovations have made a huge difference to revitalize the place, garden seating area looking amazingLove that it's our local!!!

If you want an old fashioned shrimp cocktail...it was the best!! The lettuce was fresh and overflowing with shrimps. My husband had the lamb shank and said it was outstanding

Best option on the freeway for an early dinner. Nice pub and beer garden, clean with plenty of character. Staff were friendly, good beer and the fish burger was outstanding, well priced, tastie and a huge portion.

Coming home to Waikato from Auckland, this is the best place to take a break rather than the horrible service centres. The atmosphere is a old fashioned country pub with awesome meals. We try to stop there as often as we can.
