Unexpected find. I wonder with the size of this church building wether the town pioneers were expecting this township to grow a little more. If it is some small gain the short walk up the front path opens to a Frederick de Jersey Clere designed building, a charming country church, once again a monument to the hard work of pioneer Kiwis who’s faith was clearly a deep part of their lives. Wonderfully, continuing around the back of the church a view to a rolling vista of hills and farmland opens up.
