Received my latest NZMCA mag and saw a advert for Heatspace Diesel Heater kits. They had their Web address so looked it up and they had a physical address.I popped in to have a look before purchase and was shocked by the service I received.Walked in the warehouse/ office area and no one was in attendance but noticed cameras.I waited for a few moments but no one came. Left and walked away down the driveway and was then followed by a surly gentleman wanting to know what I wanted ( I felt like a criminal)and was I a delivery man. I said I was wanting to take a look at their heaters if possible He replied they are not open to the public and did not want the public coming in here all the time. Congratulations sir you win the prize for the most atrocious rudest service I have had in a long time, (possibly the worst in my 57 yrs) thankfully there are other companies to deal with.

Just wanted to say Thank you so so much for such a great product and all the help and instructions, I brought one of the 2.2 kW Diesel Air Heater kit for my son who has tripped around the south island for the last 3 months in a van he converted to a camper, he wasn't going to put heating in thinking he could do without it, BUT has said it ended up being the most important item in the van, super cheap to run and kept his van nice and warm and most importantly dry even in -3 degrees, he knew he could be out and cold but come back to his camper and within a few minutes nice and warm, he installed it himself after watching a couple of videos, seriously he could not have done without it, I very much appreciate the help I got when purchasing it and the fast delivery. 10/10

Excellent service. Excellent, efficient & easy to operate heater.I originally employed the wrong installers who did a very bad job. Trevor took the problem over & had me sorted in a week.I recommend both Trevor & the Heatspace heater very, very highly.

Came down from North Is for extended trip so needed heater in our camper for the cold Southern trip. Was recommended about Heatspace so mad contact and was advised on getting a 3kw diesel heater which they held for me until we got there. Very pleased with service and installation. After eight weeks camping heater works well and has made a huge difference to our camping experience. Heater is so easy to use and works really well. Fully recommend Heatspace.

I really appreciate how the staff seem to care about the customers best interests. They were very helpful with offering me advice and helping me understand what I was buying, and just seem very genuine when dealing with them.Just starting to install the 2.2kw Heater X diesel heater, and everything is really well organised for DIY installation. It comes with plenty of fixings and materials to do a good job of it.Thanks very much Heatspace.

Lovely fellow installed our heater and was finished early afternoon. Good value overall for a warranted chinese diesel heater. I do feel like they could've done a better job in advance over e-mail or phone around expectations and restrictions: on arrival they told me they only install directly connected to battery and I didn't realise that that would defy the purpose of my shunt and give incorrect battery percentage readings and also allow the battery to drain past the cutout level. The reason they do this is because the cutout prevents the diesel heater from doing a cooling down cycle. It would've saved some confusion if our onboarding process was a bit more structured and had some standard questions or a checklist of some kind, instead of assuming that the customer understands all parts of their setup and can foresee the consequence of each installation choice.
