My family and I received wonderful service from Hayden at Addept Auto last week. Hayden went out of his way to squeeze us in at short notice when our hired motorhome brakes were failing. Hayden sourced the needed parts quickly and then stayed back after hours on a Friday to fix our brakes to enable us to continue on with our holiday plans.Great communication, genuine care for our situation and excellent quality of repair. I am so pleased we ended up taking our van here! Hayden and his team offer a really personable service, would recommend 100x.He was really considerate to our financial situation and time frame. He was really open, honest and thorough with our van. And to be honest for someone who knows nothing about vehicles (me!) it’s really comforting to know there’s honest and genuine mechanics out there! The guys at Addept go above and beyond. Our campervan was making a clunking noise, so we went around to a couple of shops in the area, and Addept was the only one who would give us 10 minutes of their time to at least look underneath the van. Other shops just told us when their next available appointment was. After taking a look, we made an appointment to get the problem fixed a few days later, and they really went out of their way to fix our issue as best as they could (with the limited parts in stock in Queenstown). I’d highly recommend seeing Hayden and the rest of the guys at Addept if your vehicle needs work.

If you need a good, honest and considerate mechanic I can definitely recommend Addept Automotive! Hayden has been my hero multiple times in the last couple of months, from taking me on at a moments notice even though they were super busy and giving me honest advice at my pre-purchase inspection, to taking extra care servicing my car, providing emergency solutions when things didn't go well and hunting down a replacement tail light for me. With Addept I feel I can trust their information, that they do the best job possible and that the price that's charged is a fair one. I also love the personal approach. 10/10 my favourite mechanic!

Don’t normally write reviews, let alone ones for mechanics which I’ve rarely been to…however Addept Automotive (and Hayden) were absolutely awesome.We had a rental camper that was struggling after coming over the Crown Range. Wanted to get it checked as a precaution before we continued many more miles of driving.We went around 5 different mechanics in Frankton who had no slots (understandable given it was Easter Friday).Hayden was an absolute star. He made time for us, listened and sympathised with our situation, and managed to fit in a diagnostic into a jam packed Easter Friday afternoon.We were back on the road shortly after and feeling far better about our trip.They seem like genuinely caring, local, and good guys and are a credit to the profession and the area.Thanks Hayden :)

Great mechanic option if you are in Queenstown! We needed a service and to investigate a noise on our van. Hayden and the guys were great. They got us in quick, figured out the issue, and had us back on the road before anybody else in town would even say they had an open appointment. The pricing was fair and the guys really new what they were doing. Their new location is great, just a stones throw from the Pak-n-Save.Would definitely recommend.

Honest, trustworthy, helpful, thorough. All great traits you want in your mechanic! Did a general check over whilst doing the oil change and gave us a heads up on an issue to monitor but not worth fixing just yet. Wasn’t an issue when I rang back to also get a tyre replacement whilst booked for an oil and air filter change. Will definitely use again and absolutely recommend.
