Absolutely appalling waitress and lady at counter so badly presented, no class,no style. An hour wait for food when restaurant had few patrons. No number to take to table so waitress running around with orders not having a clue. My bottle of cider was plunked on table, not offered a glass. I am a lady and DO NOTdrink out of bottle. Had to get up and get myself a glass which was not oncounter but a shelf to the side of reception. Only 3 of us. The steak burger ordered by one of came out and even before he bit into it I could tell it was cheap, nasty fatty tough meat, which he confirmed. The to8ng barista man had impeccable manners and was far too classy for this place. It should be shut down as it was the worst. May pasta should have had salsa verdi with ot as advertised....missing and Worcestershire sauce instead!!!

Wouldn't recommend. We ordered the bread and dips for a starter, they forgot them. Then my partner ordered the lamb shank on mash with veges. He got served a lamb shank on chips and gravy with a very small bowl of coleslaw. I ordered a steak medium rare, chips and salad. The steak was blue, just about mooing! And I'm sorry but I don't class coleslaw as a salad. Very disappointed with the meal and will not be going back. I'll also spread the word not to go there.

Went out for a meal tonight with my daughter. We ordered seafood platter & shared it. It was scrumptious! Piece fish, prawn twister, squid, mussels, prawn cocktail, chips. A huge compliment to the chef. Recommend it to seafood lovers. Waiter was off his feet as it was steady however he handled it so well with his friendliness, demeanor and the way he served in the pressure of the night. Thank you. Will certainly be returning there for another meal some time soon.

The only reason I'd give this place one star is for the staff, they were friendly and attentiveThe food was awful.. tasteless. Was definitely a quantity rather than quality kind of meal. I ordered a seafood platter, was a large meal but not enjoyable at all. My partner had a steak meal that he said the steak was well cooked to his liking but the sauce and salad was horrible. He also added an extra price of blue cod for $8. It was smaller than what we felt was acceptable (aarround 3cmx1.5cm) When talking to the waitress, then manager they were very quick to offer a refund or another peice of blue cod. Was delt with quickly, but I felt the fish shouldn't have been served in the first place. For 2 mains and 2 lemonade drinks 1peice of blue cod our meal cost $84.80. We wont be returning!

Great place to pop in for a hearty lunch! Super friendly staff and great recommendation to get the chicken tenders when I didn't know what I wanted to order! Definitely recommend! Dish maybe should have been called Chicken tenders and coleslaw instead of chicken tenders and salad ;) but still super yum!

I now understand why the place was empty. The price of some of the meals for the portions you receive, & quality Of the food does not match the price.I ordered the medium blue cod fillets". They weren't fillets

Absolutely a waste of money.Terrible staff, who have no idea what they or doing and no people or numeracy skills.The food was absolutely disgusting, seafood chowder looked like something my cat threw up and I refused to eat it and pay for it.I wouldn't serve this food to my worst enemy.Seriously South Otago people I feel for ya if this is the kinda cuisine you are exposed to.

Good food and polite service. Meal sizes were very good. Loved our meal.
