Matamata physiotherapy are top notch. From Alistair helping me rehab after knee surgery to Jaana fixing a painful elbow issue they couldn't be more helpful and professional and I would suggest them to anyone.

Alistair , is great my doctor kept telling me i had just pulled a muscle Alistair pretty much picked up straight away i had ruptured my Acl and organized a specialist appointment right away . He knows his stuff

Matamata physiotherapy clinic are great. My husband has been attending twice a week for the last three months. The whole team are friendly, from Trish on reception to all the physios,especially Jaana.

Would not recommend at all, go to another Clinic or go out of town.

I thoroughly recommend Matamata Physio for rehab and recovery. I suffered a life threatening motorcycle crash in October 2016 with multiple injuries including shattered left Tibia and Fibula, 7 Ribs broken front and rear, internal injuies and 3 out of 4 tendons torn/damaged in my left shoulder.Alistair has helped with rehabilation firstly with lots of nerve damage to my left foot and ankle causing droop foot. Lots of manipulation and home visits due to my pain at the time, and many hours of physio to get me from not being able to move anywhere, to a wheelchair, andonto crutches. Eight months now since the crash and I am able to walk with one crutch and still a little stiff in my shoulder. I am very thankful to Janet for assisting with the flexibility of my needs since the crash and to Trish for aranging all my appointments in conjunction with my other specialist appointments and I hope she gets better soon.I am still a work in progress but have so much to thank all staff at Matamata Physio especially Alistair for my treatments since the crash and also going forwards with soon to start gym and pool therapy. This has been a life changing incident for me but thanks to Alistair's many hours of input I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel.Thanks heaps team ☺

If I could give a 10 star rating I would. I went to Physio after suffering with a very sore knee for months. Xray showed no obvious problem so put up with the pain. After just two weeks of doing the exercise advised, I can't believe the difference. Thanks you so much Janet for helping me to help myself. I will continue with all advice to avoid future problems. Honestly can't thank you enough. Great team.Wendy

Janet, Alistair, and Nicky are exceptional physiotherapists. Their experience and expertise has enabled me to easily follow through with recovery techniques, exercises and advice post injuries. Which means I have recovered much quicker and maintained my normal life without too much difficulty.
