We had a large group of. 19 kids and adults and we were made to feel so welcome. Amazing service, food & drinks watching the sunset right beside the water. Even went back for breakfast the next morning and the same efficient team were so accommodating. The kids used some of their pocket money to leave a tip :)

We were a bit unsure about Seaside as there was no one else there and the Marlborough Hotel next door was full. We ended up having a fantastic meal and by the time we left it was full. The Pina Colada was excellent and huge.

Surprisingly delicious food, especially the duck salad. Good service and fair prices, clean and beautiful atmosphere.I really appreciated the owners striving to create a positive atmosphere that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner year round.Thank you, we'll be back.

Quick friendly service at this popular little cafe, located right on the waterfront in Russell. Lovely chill atmosphere, comfortable seating and well laid out. Enjoyed the scenic slideshow and café music. 9/10.Mum had Tandoori Spiced Lamb Rack entrée and the size was big enough for a main. Lamb on the drier side but tasty and just the right amount of spice. Mint yoghurt coulis was fresh and creamy to compliment the lamb perfectly as was the Tomato and jalapeno chutney. 7/10.Brother enjoyed the Steak main which was cooked perfectly to his liking (med-rare), juicy and tender. The truffle mash was a creamy treat and the basil pesto was a nice touch. The crispy polenta went down a treat. 8/10.Daughter had the southern fried chicken entrée which was crispy, tender and had great flavour. Coleslaw was fresh and the siracha mayo was a nice creamy touch. Huge serving with the fries, enough for a big main. She also had the salt & pepper calamari entrée which was delicious, fresh, hot and tasty. She scored both an even 8.5/10.I had the spring roll entrée which was just right, fresh, crispy and well presented. All dishes were well presented actually. 7/10.My highlight was the Baileys Crème Catalana which was the perfect end to the meal, creamy, sweet and pleasing to the eye and taste buds. 9/10.Drinks and smoothies were made very well.All in all an excellent experience and a nice way to spend our time in Russell today. Will definitely be back next time we're in town.

Such kind staff, so accommodating and helpful. I am coeliac and none of the usual confusion or explaining. They were just super. Got probably the best gluten free burger I've ever had the bun was just amazing and separately fried chips. Not to mention the stunning views of course! Such an enjoyable experience here. Would really recommend

Oh my goodness! The experience at this restaurant is truly immaculate. The chef cooked the steaks to a perfect medium as requested. The mouth watering flavours have a party in your mouth after each chew. The fries were extremely crisp and fried to perfection. The Cheese Angus Burger was juicy and absolutely divine. The service is very good, friendly, whilst also being patient and understanding. The toilets are incredibly clean and sparkling. 11/10 recommendation for everyone on the island!!

Great place. Came across on the ferry for a walk and breakfast from Paihia. A few choices and glad we decided on here. The staff were very helpful , coffee fantastic and the breakfast wonderful.

Incredible food, one of the best big breakfasts I've ever had. Friendly staff and food was served very quickly. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic dinner experience. The food was delicious, the waitress was fantastic with our children and meals were served promptly. Will definitely visit again if we make our way back to Russell in the future. Also a very comprehensive menu, something for everyone!
