Riverstone Castle
I loveeee this place!!! there is such beautiful scenery and shops and heaps of things to keep kids entertained such as playgrounds, manual go carts and a tractor cart u can push around. the shops r a tad bit creepy and overpriced tho :')

Riverstone Castle
Loved it there. Great gardens which are wonderfully laid out. The kitchen/cafe is closed Tuesday and Wednesday so that will be next time. But the gift shops were really WOW. Could have spent a good couple of hours going through the three of them. There is some really great items there from kitchen to garden to gifts to religious. Thank you for the chance to do this.

A great experience.A lovely setting.Great gardens.The castle looks magnificent.The Kitchen a nice food experience.I had Chick & Bacon Salad yum.My friend had pumpkin soup & ciabatta.She said yum.Shopping is amazing.

Rachel hosted our visit to Riverstone Castle and her introduction and info during the tour was great. Loved the decor and furniture in the castle. Everything was beautifully done. So much to look at hard to take it all in.

Fabulous tour of the castle, just amazing. Then a delicious late lunch at the Riverstone Kitchen, OMG just yummy, generous portions, pleasant cheerful staff, Ostler Rise to go with it. Highly recommended place to dine.

Riverstone Castle
Riverstone Castle is quite possibly the most amazing property in NZ! Every single room is so beautifully designed. We were in awe. If you do the tour be sure to get Raewyn (the lovely tour guide) to take you to the dungeon :) We had the privilege of meeting Dot and chatting about the Castle and our world adventures. You are an inspiration Dot! Thank you for opening your Castle to the public and for having an incredible store too ;)

Riverstone Castle
Had a fantastic day out at Riverstone. Worth a visit to see inside the castle. Really imaginative architecture with lovely attention to detail. Small groups don’t need to book ahead, and there are regular tours. Also beautiful gardens to wander through and be inspired.

Beautifully designed, built and furnished castle. It’s a realised imagining of what a castle would look like if built today with modern amenities, windows etc. the amount of sheer research and effort it must have taken is quite something. It even has a moat and a hidden exit tunnel! Lovely gardens.

A beautiful modern day castle nestled in New Zealand's South Island. Our sweet guide with the broom in the dungeon knows all about this interesting castle and home. It's a must do a long with the gift shop and restaurant on property.
