My son purchase a Toki necklace a year ago and sadly lost it. I reached out to Kiwa Art to see if Janet remembered my son. Altough it had been a year later, she did! They were able to match his orignal necklace as best they could. He will be so thrilled to receive a new Toki necklace this Christmas. Kiwa Art is the best authentic art shop in Auckland. Fabulous greenstone pounamu necklaces and you actually learn where the stone comes from, who's the artist is and they can even remember which one you purchase!

Realy good shop to to by Pounamu/GreenstoneThe owner is incredible, he know so mutch: which artist crafted which stone, the background, history, the evolution of the carving... I talker realy long to him and bought in the end three beautiful necklesces and a earringset.

I've had a very positive trading experience with KIWA ART.Particularly, I liked KIWA ART's professional approach to its artifacts.I know authentic material cultural items from the Pacific Islands extremely well. KIWA ART Director. Mr. Andrew Pendergrast. told me of the history and method of manufacture and provenance of each artifact I purchased. This enriched my admiration and enjoyment of these itemsThe service before and after purchase was excellent. The artifacts were protectively wrapped and quickly sent to my home in Fiji. Since then I have asked Andrew questions by email about long term preservation and protection of the purchases I made. These queries were promptly answered to my complete satisfaction.My entire experience with Andrew and KIWA ART, has been uniquely satisfactory and personable. I will return to KIWA ART, not only for the quality of the artifacts, but because of the good humour, kindness, and professionalism of its Director who I now count as my friend.

Great selection of indigenous and Pacific rim artifacts and art. Owner can also tell a good story. As he knows what he's talking about, it is often best to lean back and nod sagely. Whether he can actually pass the Charriere threshold is up to the observer...

I've seen greenstone all around Auckland but Kiwa Art has the best selection. I visited twice and the three shop keepers I met were patient, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Its not easy to find real Maori-Art in Auckland but you will find it here. I was looking for a real NZ greenstone necklace, made in NZ from NZ materials.But ther is so much more to see there.If youre looking for a authentic souvenier AND a real piece of art, this is your place to be.

The best collection of pacific islander art I've ever seen. Prices are what they are but when you're decorating a cool tiki bar at home you want to get the best!
