Review for the cafeHad the pad thai special of the day. It tasted alright, but it was a decent portion of food for the price. The juice I ordered was freshly pressed, which was very delightful. However, it took them 40 min to bring food, which is probably from a staff shortage.

Having always admired the quality and finish of their pots we visited the shop and were deeply impressed to learn (on the free tour where you see a pot beng made) about how hand made each piece is and how respected and enabled the crafts people are to experiment as well as produce set lines. The staff were super friendly and we are delighted to have purchased a special house warming present and for us a pot that what ever plant it holds will be a source of eye pleasure due to its vibrant colours and design.

Amazing how they make such large pieces. Have a look at the big kilns down the back. Their glazing is incredible too. Some day I'd like to buy one of their big pots.

Had a lovely walk through..well worth the entry fee. Places to sit and stop if tired and lots of shady stops if you are too hot. Really enjoyed this. Great for kiddies and adults.

Went here for lunch, which was very tasty and well prepared & presented, prices were reasonable and the staff were very pleasant. Beautiful gardens and eating area. The pottery place next door is amazing, with some stunning pieces!!! Well worth a visit !!

LOVE this place. The pottery is stunning. Very hard to visit without buying a piece. Located just down the road from Matakana Village which is a great spot to stop for a bite afterwards.

(Review is for cafe) Really gone down hill. Burnt coffee and expensive and unusual brunch menu. Spent $21 on a bread/egg/avocado combination that tasted bland. Will not be back again sorry.

Approached via a scenic trees avenue. There are plenty of parking spaces, including campervans. Large well lit display rooms showing an extensive range of pottery. Would have purchased at least 2 large colourful pots but living in the U.K. made this impossible.
