They didn’t have the lowest fee out of the agents I interviewed to sell my property, they did every thing they promised, keep up the great work and thank you!

My Partner and I we’re looking for our first home.After lots of searching and a few missed offers we came across Lily Beck whom we found was the only agent who took us under her wing and became our buyers agent to help find us a property that met our brief and ticked both of our requirements. We felt she went out of her way to help shortlist properties of interest within budget (even under) which was great in this crazy market. Lily found us our first home. During the exercise we felt she explained the process well from start to finish. Would happily recommend Lily Beck to anyone looking to buy a first home who feels lost or overwhelmed with the house hunting! Thanks again Lily

This was by far the worst housing experience I've ever had. The property manager (Kate Genet) would show up on the property without giving notice. She would drive slowly past the house and my mother and I would see her looking at it, she never answered our calls or texts, and she raised the rent by Forty dollars. And I clarify: Kate raised the rent. Not the owner. We were told this after speaking with the tenancy tribunal. This forced us to move out of the place as the rent was too high and we could no longer afford it. My mother and I cleaned the house from top to bottom and mowed the lawns. We did everything our contract said to do and took photos and videos as proof. Kate waited for one week after we moved out to carry out a final inspection. She told us how horrid we are and said that we had left the property in such a poor state that she hired a cleaning crew. Although the cleaners said there was nothing to clean, she still went ahead and charged us over six hundred dollars for it. When we refused to pay she went to the tenancy tribunal and said that we had left the house in such a fallen down state that it was unable to be rented out. She said we'd not cleaned anything or mowed the lawn and even went so far as to accuse us of throwing rubbish out the window. We were called to a tenancy hearing where she produced old photos as proof of the mess on the property. We however produced our evidence with a date, stories and videos of us cleaning the house. In the end Kate was overruled by the judge saying that we are not responsible for what happens to the house after we vacate. It was up to property brokers to pay the bill and we were not responsible for it. We did however pay to clean the carpet and flea bomb the house willingly.This was bullying and harassment and my mother and I will not ever rent with them agian.Be warned, stay away from 47 Fitzroy Street Terrace End Palmerston NorthIt is not worth it after the way Kate treated us. I can only hope and pray that others will not suffer the same way as we did under her management.P.S the tenancy tribunal allowed us the right to tell others what happened.

What a terrible experience I have been having selling my property through Property Brokers. The agent’s behaviour has been incredibly unprofessional and did not fulfil any of the requests I made. Photos that showed the tenants private photos and family clutter were used, the advertisement never shown to me before going online. The same photographer was used by Watson and photos were amazing. I only have 4 examples of the advertisement as I was not given a copy despite being charged. Due to privacy I have had to severely edit photos. PB over charge sellers for work they out source. The agent kept bullying me to spend large amounts of money despite cheaper good options being available. He also insinuated I was a lying despite my lovely rental agent assuring me all was well.A terrible, unprofessional experience. I chose PB knowing they were more expensive than other Palmerston North RE agencies, I thought I was paying for an efficient professional service. Instead I was badgered, insulted and deceived.An agency to avoid!In response to Property Brokers you are aware that all the reply that we’re requested have been completed via the excellent support my rental manager at Harcourts?Having a wonderful and supportive agent who does not make rude and derogatory comments about my character has made a huge difference in getting all work completed.Again I am very disappointed by the tone of PB response. I have done all I can to make my house safe, clean and ready for sale, I do not appreciate the suggestion of anything less.Photos and bills for work completed can be supplied if I am again not believed.So very disappointed in PB. So please with my new agent at Watson’s.
