Riverside Holiday Park
Wonderful for tent camping right by the lazy river.Well equipped kitchen, with comfortable seating on the patio, with heating.Only minus (though not enough take a full star away) is that the toilet / shower block is a bit far from the tent area.All in all, a good choice for a few days, at a very good price (no more than the usual DOC grounds).

What a great little gem of a park, how many times we have skipped through here on our way to Nelson ...but the forestry setting on the Northern exit from Murchison, the peaceful and well developed park , the shared cooking area looking out over the river, adequate cabins and caravan sites makes this a must stay to break your journey .

The best holiday park hands down. Superb location, great amenities, fantastic people. So good in fact, I stayed twice as long as I had planned(two months).I will definitely be back.

Amazing terrace just in front the kitchen. Finally a Campsite which feels like holidays! Perfect place to come and relax. Lots of kitchen utensils. Generosity is in the place. Love it. Wish I could stay longer.

Not a bad kitchen and actually a lovely sitting/eating area overlooking the river which is really nice, however never been to a campsite with such dirty toilets and showers, seen nicer at music festivals. Shower was warm then cold and pressure kept changing randomly, not worth the $2 at all unfortunately.

Beautiful place right by the water!We camped in our little van facing out over the water. Water is quite cold but refreshing once you get use to it.They have clean hot showers for $2. All the kitchen(x2) utilities you need. 2 toilet blocks as well! Nice quiet place. Would come again!

Beautiful campsite. The price is reasonable and showers and laundry is very cheap compared to other places.Showers are $2 for six minutes and washing machine and dryer are $2 each per load.

Nice site and friendly staff. One thing I feel needs attention (being in property management) are hooks in toilet stalls to hang your shirt or towel for example. Plus 1 out of 5 lights worked in the mens shower area. Otherwise nice newish toilets and shower area and roomy kitchen.
