Boom Sailing
This fantastic trip was one of our best events ever: The crew is caring so much for each passenger & Mat and Sam are excellent sailors! They were telling us so much background information on history and wildlife. We got plenty of time at Cathedral Cove and for close by swimming and snorkeling. It was a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere on board! We even could sail yourself! It was such a wonderful day, highly recommended!Many thanks to Mat and Sam, from Guido & Christine, Germany

We did a morning sail with a group of friends and it was epic! Matt was so incredible at looking after us and showing us some beautiful sights from the boat. It’s the best way to see the Coromandel.

Boom Sailing
We had a fantastic afternoon sail with Mat and Sam. We loved the “choose your own adventure” style of allowing you to relax throughout the entire ride or participate in the sailing if you would like to. Mat and Sam were kind hosts and provided fruit, beer and wine throughout the trip. The cat was safe, clean, and comfortable. We cannot recommend Boom Sailing highly enough!

This was a awesome experience. It was relaxing . We were on our honeymoon and we both fully enjoyed sailing on the catamaran. It was well priced at 110 pp and was 3 hours . We were taken around from whitianga to cathedral cove. We got to swim with snapper 2x drinks and a snack included on the way home. It felt safe and was a experience I will never forget. One lady on board was going for her 15th time.

Awesome experience with Boom Sailing! You get a solid 3 hours, if not longer on the catamaran with stops to snorkel or swim (they even have pool noodles on the boat). You get a bevvy on board if you pick the arvo session and plenty of blankets if you get cold. Also opportunities to sail yourself if you’re a keen bean! Loved the experience and the chats with Mat. Can’t recommend enough!

There probably isn't a more relaxing way to see Cathedral Cove and the coastline out from Whitianga. Mat and his crew are great fun and the trip was really enjoyable. From booking, to getting us on and off the boat, to chatting about the local area, everything was super easy. The fruit platters were delicious and the locally brewed beer was very easy drinking. We swam with fish in the marine reserve and could not have felt more relaxed at the end of the day. Highly recommend these guys.
