The radiologists were fantastic, very polite and made me feel really comfortable, but one of the receptionists felt incredibly dismissive towards me. I went in for two scans, one covered partially by public health (X-Ray) and the other under ACC (CT Scan). This receptionist was adamant that neither of them were covered, and was not very understanding/empathetic when I told her otherwise and was trying to explain - I felt very stressed that I was having to pay $1000 on the spot/receive an invoice when I knew that they should be covered. I went in to my CT scan thinking I would have to pay $800 for it and get ACC to pay later. I told the receptionist that I won't bother with the X-Ray as it was supposedly private and I would have to pay. I came out after my CT scan and asked the other receptionist (who was great) what I needed to do next - he told me nothing and that it is covered by ACC?? And would I like to do my X-Ray now (which was also covered as I thought). I really don't know what happened and am still very confused, but it caused a lot of stress for nothing, me trying to explain and the receptionist being rude in front of a waiting room full of people. I didn't even get an apology for the mix up. They need to get their payment/cover processes under control, and make sure receptionists know what they are doing in regards to this. I wonder how many people this has happened to, I hope no one has actually paid when they haven't needed to....

Have had most if not all of my pregnancy scans here at pacific radiology Wakefield in Newtown. As i am pregnant with twins I had to have scans every 4 weeks at $65 a scan. All of them were a fantastic experience and the Canadian lady who done all my scans was sure to be very accurate and double checked each measurement of the twins. Today I have had my last scan and am very disappointed in the service. This time it was not the usual lady it was someone different who seemed a little rushed and possibly a little inexperienced. I was truly disappointed in paying $65 for a 15min - 20min service with what I believe to be inaccurate measurements and weights. Throughout my whole pregnancy twin b had been the heaviest. Each scan showed that twin b was bigger then twin a. Today twin a had all of a sudden out grown twin b! This is how I believe that my scan was rushed and not properly measured. Every scan almost took an hour to do but today was the shortest I have ever had. My partner and I were very excited about our last and final scan and to be able to see our twins before going into hospital in a few weeks. This makes me sad. I’ve paid a lot of money throughout this pregnancy to be disappointed on the last scan. Very very upset with my last experience and would not recommend that lady to anyone! I do recommend the young Canadian lady who is absolutely amazing!!

Had my tennis elbow injury treatment here. Tendons scratched to take of the bad tissue and injection with blood afterwards. This cured my injury after years of pain.
