We had a fabulous lunch here at the Chilli house. The food was served fresh, hot and fast. Even though we weren't in a hurry we were very grateful for receiving quality food in a timely manner. We had, fresh veggie spring rolls as an entree then we moved onto Asian burgers, 1 chicken and 1 tofu burger which were both delicious and to finish we had a mix plate of dumplings, pork, prawn and chive and chicken and chive with the house special sauce and these we absolutely devine, homemade, fresh deliciousness. To all those who reads my post head over to the Chilli house either in Cambridge or Hamilton and enjoy the delicious foodie treats this team has to offer. Good all round pricing no complaints from us on this visit. I lookforward to returning when I come.back to the waikato.

Had dinner here. Pros: Great dumplings and they sat us without a booking.Cons: We got the vege spicy noodles which meant we had to pay $3 each to add tofu. The noodles were OK, but unfortunately the tofu added was uncooked and looked to be straight out of the packet (see pics). Pretty disappointing! We raised it with staff and they said they'd mention it to the kitchen so hopefully its better next time (we still had to pay though).Overall this placed was overpriced and not a good option for vegetarians.

We had a family birthday recently. Food not up to usual standard. My fried rice was boiled not fried with lumps of raw vege. Service slow. Disappointing.

Bad service. Hubby’s dinner was brought out while we were still eating our entree and then my main didn’t arrive for around 20mins later. No real apology.My food was basically cucumber, chicken and some peanuts. The rest was inedible chilli pieces.Not impressed.

Pork wonton soup— pork is still red and raw when served. I believe it’s frozen food not prepared properly. Mentioned this to the chef who is probably the owner too. He agrees not to charge me for this dish. However the Taiwanese girl at counter shrugged her shoulder and gave me that disgusted look.

Just went there tonight and saw that the chefs were cooking with their bare hands with no gloves touching the food with their hands, I am not happy with this as I don’t eat pork and they are cross contaminating everything together. When I told the staff at the front to remake them for me they started laughing to each other and doing little smirks at each other which is horrible behaviour.

I tried the Dan Dan noodles. As an Asian from south east Asia, I found the food to be so-so, which is not too bad for a small town in a non-asian country. Think the chefs are from China and do not speak English. The servers could be more attentive though. The decor and ambience is nice. Seems like plenty of locals like to have social gatherings and catch ups there.

First time and in two minds although the flavors were nice it felt cheap we had fried chicken rice and at 23 bucks wasn't expecting mixed vege from the packet and at that price enough for 2 people should have been there but it was very lean on proportion. We halso had Sichuan pork ,prawn and chive dumplings which were yum but payed for 10 got 8 so payed 43 dollar's for something could have got from the local Chinese takeout at much less price But the flavors were nice
