We loved our magical cruise with Stew, Aommy and Buster. They were a fabulous team of hosts and made our trip very memorable. I enjoyed hearing about the interesting history and geology of the area. We saw several small pods of Hector's dolphins, some little white-winged penguins and lots of fur seals...plus many shags and other seabirds. My boys loved spotting dolphins with Buster!

Can’t say enough good things about this cruise! My friends and I were only in Akaroa for the afternoon and this is the only major thing we did while visiting - I can honestly say it’s “the” thing you should reserve if you only have time for one adventure while in town! George (our captain and the owner) was personable, knowledgeable, and truly cared that everyone had a good time. I didn’t realize that we would also get a history lesson of the bay as well - what a bonus! Highly recommend

Fantastic way to explore the bay and see Hector dolphins, seals, shags and penguins. Once you collect your tickets, and board the gorgeous boat, you are greeted with a welcome drink of either beer, wine or juice, there is also a supply of water. Loved the commentary throughout from George, the captain, learnt a lot about the geology and history of the bay. Albie, the dog, was on hand to alert us to when dolphins were near by. We were lucky enough to see a few pods and one calf. They can come quite close to the boat so you will see them up close. The boat is big enough for everyone so that you can move around freely from the front and back and go up to the top if you wish. The two hours goes really quickly and you will wish you had longer out there. What an experience, one I’ll never forget.

A fantastic cruise! Lovely boat. Great tour with dolphins swimming alongside the boat. Also saw some seals and various seabirds including albatross! George the captain was brilliant - very knowledgeable and approachable and made the experience great. Complimentary drinks and cookie were a nice touch. One of the best boat cruises I've been on!

Incredible! I booked this the night before and am so glad I did. We thought we might not get to see much of anything. Everything that the website says you “might see” we did see. We saw so many dolphins right along side the boat. We also saw a few penguins and lots of seals including the pups playing. There were also other native birds. Along the way the crew explained the history of the area and was always sure to point out the wildlife. There were drinks provided and a cookie on the way back. Also, everyone enjoyed the dolphin alerting dog.

One of the best experiences of my life. Such beautiful scenery & wildlife - saw a little penguin, Hector dolphins & seals - Stew was a great captain full of interesting history of the region & Kate was a first class host. Can’t recommend them higher for a once in a lifetime experience - 6 stars!

We had great time with this trip. Saw many dolphins and few blue penguins, seals, birds. The captain, Stew and his crew were very friendly and informative. We loved the four legged crew, Buster. That’s special treat to have him on board. He was so cute. He was very helpful to spot the dolphins for us. We were following him.We were very luck, the weather was calm and the boat was very stable.
