I received excellent service from the 2 staff members that I dealt with. I had an issue with a small online purchase I had been waiting on for a while. The staff members checked on the details and were able to resolve the issue on the spot and give me a slightly more expensive product from stock.The staff members showed a high standard of service and an obvious dedication to their employer and should be congratulated. Businesses often promise good service but as this often comes down to the person behind the counter; looking after your staff in these times is especially important. Thank you Smith's City.

Excellent service. I was looking for a small part for a dishwasher and Aaron I think spent 10 min looking for the part online then said leave it with him. Next day rang back and was able to find it from the supplier very impressed

My Partner and I went into the store in Greymouth intending to purchase a new wall oven as ours is no longer working properly. We were in the storefor quite a while looking at all the ovens and trying to decide which one would be suitable to replace our old one. We were the only customers in the store and there were 4 staff members. One staff member in the small appliances section greeted us as we walked through but didn't offer to assist us and the other Three were standing near the checkout/customer service desk talking to each other.Although they looked over in our direction, not one of them came to help us. On leaving the store, we were approached by a staff member as we got nearer the door and were asked if we needed any help with anything. I said we wanted to buy an oven, but by this stage I was so annoyed with the lack of customer service I had already decided that I would not be purchasing my oven from them and told them they were too late. There was no apology, just an Ok

Aaron was very helpful when helping me select a washing machine. He also gave good information on a number of brands.
