Conveniently walkable to all of downtown Christchurch. Breakfast is ample and cheerfully presented - a continental breakfast was left in my room overnight when I had to leave early in the morning.

A lovely place to stay. Perfect for a night in Christchurch. The house has so much vintage character, we loved it. The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. Breakfast was good, and it was great having free parking!

Central but quiet ocation in central Christchurch, reliable wifi with Netflix in every room!, ample room size, spotlessly clean, modern rooms, breakfast from 14$ extra although we weren’t brief on this when checking in. Not the easiest car park to park but we had no issues getting a space.

We stayed on the ground floor. Unfortunately we both had poor night's sleep. The bed needs replacing and the electric blanket connection was situated in the middle of my back, really uncomfortable. The heat pump wasn't working although we had a heater. Also the people upstairs were noisy and played music late. Parking could be better. House staff and breakfast area was good. Great location although the main road is noisy on Saturday night. Nice and clean.

19 to 20 déc 2022.I came to stay here for the last leg, 2 nights of our new Zealand trip. My family opt to stay at the crown plaza Hotel down the road while I pick the Grange bed and breakfast at less than half of the price. Love the homely ambience of the place. Jacky checked us into the room, help with luggage and loan us umbrellas. Breakfast was cooked by the owners themselves, simple but what we need was there. Good eggs, coffee and bread is all I need. I wish I have more nights here, will book this place if I come back to chirstchurch again.

We have been staying at the grange for years on our frequent stays in the city and it never ceases to disappoint. Lovely heritage building 5 mins walk from the main entertainment precinct yet still quiet and peaceful. Lovely comfortable rooms and excellent service. Our go-to for stays in Christchurch.

The people were nice and the location was great! Shower had decent pressure and the ground floor units at the back has everything you might need to whip up a simple meal! IMO as of this writing, the biggest downside is that the beds needs replacing. Springs are uneven, the head board has collected plenty of dust , and we woke up with aches everyday, which is especially bad if you’re trying to do a hike that day lol. I’ve stayed here 5 years ago and it was great, so I can imagine with the beds swapped out it would be prefect!
