Good for a wee 4X4 trip, be mindful of walkers and dont speed, also be wary when in flood as sometimes the tracks can get submerged. Awesome in summer to take your dog for a quick dip, please remember to leave only footprints too!!!

Great spot for the daily walk. Some walking, biking tracks and maybe a bit of planting, would definitely enhance the area.

Great fishing and place to get away from it all. Swimming close to blenheim is safe in the pools.

This is the best place to go swimming in! The Ferry Bridge is amazing to jump off and gave a good thrill. Its especially great for hot sunny days as it now!

Warm water of the river today. Wairau River is the best place near to Blenheim to swim.

A long river running the length of the Wairau Valley. Has walking tracks, places for a swim, and a fish. Runs to the sea where Kawhai can be caught at the mouth, as well as whitebait in the appropriate season.Just be sure to clean up after yourself and respect the natural beauty.

Beautiful part of the country. As a grape, felt very comfortable, nice soil, gets a bit drafty sometimes.
