At the end of 2022 I purchased a Zoje A8000. It was bought online as I live in Tauranga and couldn't get up, so I did not even get to do a test sew for myself. I am extremely happy with it. It goes like a dream. I have had the chance to do quite a few different fabrics now and I can say she performed perfectly every time. The courier even helped me bring it up my stairs.

Bought my Zoje 0303 industrial in October 2017 from Shay... with a great service a year later....and then have continued to keep in touch and buy soooo many other notions and feet for it and my other machines ever since as well over the last few years and always receive the best personal service and backup knowledge from the team and Shay. He has had some great sales and has almost everything you could need in stock - but if he didn’t, I’ve only had to ask Shay and he’s tracked them down for me! I’m a b̶i̶g̶ ... nay.... HUUUUGE fan of the Zoje machine and will champion the brand to whomever shows an interest and now have a great group of chat group sewing friends who all love their 0303’s too, but seriously, you can’t go wrong with a Zoje! (And one day I’ll be back to buy a cylinder arm when I have the room!)

Bought the Ricoma TC 1501 7S from this company in Auckland as I get a lot of my supplies from them over the years, they are the most nicest guys I have come across in a long time definitely not pushy sales people, extremely helpful go out of their way with great service (they do need to take time off from working though). They went 2hrs drive out of their way to deliver my machine personally to the waikato, stayed for quite a while making sure I was all set up and ready to go. I know I can ring, text or email 24/7 they are awesome like that. I went for this deal as it is a commercial grade product for the same money (but more accessories) as a domestic 10 needle brand, Plus all the accessories that come with it specially the hat station and hoop also a bobbin winder with 11 hoops and a table for bigger flat embroidery why would you even contemplate a smaller machine that bounces on the table plus this monster is so quiet. Sorry this review is so long but I am passionate about supporting and being loyal to a fantastic kiwi company like Direct Sewing Machines and Supplies and if I had anything bad to say I definitely would as I have in the past. Way to go Shay (manager) and Prem (technician) you are awesome.

In 2020 I purchased my Quantum 9916 domestic machine online. The customer service was amazing, from the speedy delivery and the ongoing friendly approach, the after sales service and follow ups. I have now taken delivery of my Eagle Industrial machine. Again, the speedy delivery was great and the ongoing after market care and concern I am receiving from Shay is nothing short of amazing. I unreservedly recommend Direct Sewing & Supplies, and in particular Shay Narsey. His service, care and attention is truly phenomenal.

I'm always so impressed with how fast delivery is, it is normally on my doorstep 24 hours later (package ready for courier email normally an hour after ordering at most). Direct Sewing is now my go to for general sewing consumables, they have competitive prices and often have sales. Highly recommend.
