Meh, had a burger that was kinda tasteless and seemed like it was made of beef that just came out of a bag of discs in the freezer.Specifically asked if my meal came with certain things, confirmed, and then it didn't arrive with them.I'll give them credit for fixing it after a bit of back and forth and disagreement over the sign that I had already clarified before ordering.I'm sure there are better places to eat in the airport.

Passing through yet again, through Christchurch Airport.Food options at the airport are nominal so thought I'd give this place a shot.The loaded fries honestly seemed like they were cooked two hours earlier and reheated. The taste would have been much better if it was cooked fresh which I'm sure they weren't.Calamari was ok but also seemed to be microwave heated or left in a Bain Marie.The lemon lime & bitters was great.For the price paid I think it was fairly substandard.However the staff and service were fine.⭐️⭐️⭐️ and that's on account of the staff or it would have been ⭐️⭐️.

Would not recommend eating here! Chicken wings were dry, tasted only of flour and one still has a feather stuck in it. They poured our beers then just left them at the bar without saying anything to us about coming to collect them or maybe even coming and giving them to us.

I haven't eaten here so can't comment on the food, but the beer selection is good (it's a Mac's bar so plenty of Mac's on tap, as well as Steinlager, Emerson's 1812 and Guinness), the service is friendly enough and the facilities, layout and decor are great for an airport bar. Very spacious and with plenty of big brown leather sofas.Great for a quick beer while you wait for someone to arrive from their domestic flight.

Wish we’d read the reviews before going in. They were out of beef burgers so we ordered a pizza. Worst pizza we’ve ever had haha. It was like a frozen pizza you’d get from a supermarket and they charged like $26. Made us feel a little sick which was t great before hopping on a plane. Staff were nice though.

Spend some time here waiting for my flight. Had a couple of Mac’s Gold and Beef Nachos. Would recommend for killing time at the airport.

Wish we read the reviews first... Nice place to have a beer and sit in a comfortable chair whilst you wait for a flight... However, it stops there. Do not order any food here! Steak sandwich was miniature compared to the price, and pizza was certainly a microwave base.

Interior looks cool, but if you're in a hurry and want to catch a plane you should avoid that place. It took them over 20 minutes to prepare a club sandwich. Unfortunately the food wasn't tasty either. Sandwich was too cold and chips were over-fried. Maybe consider another restaurant.

First advice read all the reviews before going there ! Second advice is if you are looking to grab a beer before the flight with a view overlooking the runway this is your place and probably the only decent place at this ironic “international” airport. Staff is nice and friendly, decor and seats are well done and stylised for the pub feeling. That’s about it. Last advice in line with all others, which is doesn’t matter how hungry you are do not order any food here ! Pizza is just microwave heated, overpriced supermarket pizza. Burgers are tasteless and nachos again microwave heated with some cheese on top. All quite heavily priced and not worth your money. Seriously if you have time it’s better to walk 10 mins to nearby Spitfire Square and get decent food over there.

Best pub meal you'll get at this airport. Only slightly over-priced for slightly above average food. If you don't feel like fast food and have time to kill, park up in the spot near the back where you can see the runway.Otherwise, if you really wanted a Macs beer and a snack this is your best option!
