Danube Orchards

We go this orchard every year for strawberries in Feb and apples in Mar. Very friendly owner and reasonable pricing. They sell other season fruit on the counter as well. They are all juicy and sweet. Highly recommended.

Such a great place so close to the city. The children loved the experience. Large juicy strawberries and reasonably priced. The owners are warm and friendly. Will come back again next season.

Great place to visit with kids. Very friendly owners; although it was closed but they still welcomed us with wide smile. They are at a stone throw distance from Motorway and ideal for a quick stop and pick up some strawberries plums or apples. Highly recommended.

Had so much fun today at this lovely family-owned orchard! It’s off the beaten path and feels just like PYO places used to feel like. Cost was $7 per kg and no entrance fee (for context, Good Planet up the road charges $5 entrance fee and $30 per 3kg bucket…), plus she was lovely and said we could snack on some berries while picking, which heaps of places don’t allow anymore. They use hydroponic stands to grow the strawberries which means you’re not bent over the whole time, which is another plus. This is 100% going to be our new annual strawberry spot, and we’ll be back in April for apple picking as well. Highly highly highly recommend!!
