Shore Vets

A dog will be afraid of the vet the same way our kids are afraid of the Dentist.This is NOT vet specific but a result of how dogs and humans are in any situation that involves physical examination.With this thought in mind; the team at Shore Vets go out of their way to insure my four leggers are comfortable and happy with every visit.My kids do not get unwanted care but get complete attention.Tania and Niel both jumped up to the plate and helped us when tragedy struck last October .They were there for us after the event to insure our other little dog was coping as well; and two devastated adults.Niel has gone above and beyond with dropping insulin to our home when we could not make it to the clinic with in hours and then just this morning arriving outside his shift to see our newest addition who is sick.His effort to meet our inability to keep with in clinic hours has endeared him to both of us.We need service and professionalism like Shore Vets here in Devonport.We count ourselves lucky to live on the peninsula; where my pets and the two us have peace of mind because of services such as Shore Vets.

Super friendly team! We visited with a lost cat to check for microchip. They very quickly scanned him, identified the owners and arranged for us to drop him home.Sadly we can't have a pet right now, but would most definitely use these guys when we do!Thanks for helping out!

We are thrilled to have discovered the wonderful vets, vet nurses and staff here. Dr Amy has been so compassionate when it comes to treating our anxious dog and absolutely outstanding when investigating the growth on my daughters pet rat. She reassured my daughter and explained everything to her. Brilliant. A++

Had a great experience here today, despite a family illness that led to us missing our original appointment, thanks to the team who managed to squeeze us in at the end of the day..and especially Amy who was careful, thoughtful, diligent and totally approachable in looking after both dog and owner alike !

I sadly found a deceased cat in the water at a local beach, I called up to ask if they could check for a microchip in hopes of giving her family closure. The second I stepped in the door, the friendly staff greeted me and immediately took her out back to check for a microchip with zero delay. The poor baby unfortunately did not have a microchip but the lovely ladies there held onto the kitty incase she can be identified soon! They acted so swiftly and the conversations I overheard from them out back was so heart-warming! We may never find her family but I know for a fact that the lil girl had so much love from myself and from the lovely staff at this centre. Thank you soso much for acting so swiftly and for trying to help me find her family! You guys are amazing at what you do!! I will definitely be bringing my future fur babies to this place!!:))
