Went in to get metals verified. Testing was fast and cost only $5. My items were tested with both XRF and a Sigma metals tester.Although I didn’t purchase any, the numismatics were very well priced (slightly lower than in the private sector) and there were a good range of options available.

Just starting off stacking dinner precious metals. Owner is very knowledgeable and really does want to help. Buy price is a bit higher than those in Auckland but still reasonable considering we're in Hamilton

WaiGold has a very tidy show room with a good selection of antique and modern Jewellery on display. Their buy back for scrap is very fair, with current market prices in mind. Peter, the owner of the store is very pleasant and really helpful, with good knowledge in his industry, so u know your getting the best deal.

In gold alone my ring is worth $2500. (Flawed or not)You except dealers want to make money of their buys, & I believe they're entitled. However. The offer of $400. Miserable, absolutely miserable.

Waigold has a friendly, knowledgeable owner who pays prices that are fair (and higher than the competition, I might add!). They also have a XRF scanner on premises used to ascertain purity so you know you're getting an honest, non-destructive appraisal of your items. They also have some nice vintage and antique pieces of jewellery for sale if you're keen on buying as well as selling :-)
