My son and I stayed here for two nights and it was most convenient and comfortable. Good off street parking and lovely modern and clean rooms with comfy beds. We had our own bathroom/toilet just across the hallway. I would definately recommend for a stay in Island Bay.

Be inspired by the life of Sister Susan Aubert and her creative approaches to wellbeing and wellness of people. The architecture of the chapel supports the community life of the sisters of compassion as they turn inwards and reach outwards.

Beautiful place to stay, mum had a lively time, with good walks nearby. Really close to a bus stop, so a very convenient spot with an awesome history!

So peaceful, had lunch at the cafe, wonderful soup and focaccia bread.had a tour with a compassion sister who assisted us through the Sister Aubert exhibition. She was the nun who founded this order. Just as interesting for non Catholics because her compassion was for anyone who needed help from orphans to the sick and hungry .She had a special affinity for the Maori and became fluent in Te Reo and making herbal medicine. There are conference rooms and accommodation .

Haven on earth. The Sisters and whānau are genuinely caring with stunning hospitality. Made us feel like it was home. The rooms are better than most places in town. May God continue to Bless You All

Frances in the cafe makes a mean as fat bomb keto coffee, and the food is pretty tasty too. Peaceful and inviting space to watch the world go by. Pretty choice little museum, that tracks the life and achievements of a group of nuns that call this place home.
