We did the chocolatier experience and it was great. The guide was knowledgeable and the making of the three chocolates bars each we got to take home was fun. Would have been nicer to have a few more fruity toppings like raisins or cranberries etc. The hot chocolate while the bars were solidifying was lovely.

Fantastic chocolate making experience. Fun, interesting, relaxed. Really nice & friendly staff. A super tasty hot chocolate in the middle, and some tasters of different types of chocolate. Enjoyed learning about the process and their relatively small operation. We had a great time! Bonus - they give you 20% off everything in store when you've done a tour. Would highly recommend :D

Wellington Chocolate Factory
We did the ‘chocolatier for a day’ experience at the Wellington Chocolate Factory. It was a 1.5 hour experience where we chose flavor combinations and created three of our own chocolate blocks. While the chocolate set, we were served delicious hot chocolate in the cafe. We then popped our blocks of chocolate out of the molds and wrapped each block in foil and paper.This was a really fun experience and a great way to spend a rainy day on holiday.

Visited on Saturday around 3pm, the cafe was pretty quiet. We ordered ice chocolate, it was very thick chocolate but It was not sweet. It was tasty but expected more sweetness.

We did the chocolatier tour and it was awesome! Got to pick the chocolate and toppings, a complimentary hot chocolate (amazing!), and lovely staff that are clearly passionate about their jobs. Amazing! Definitely 100% recommend!
