They were rude ,beligrent and attempted to defend my former lawyer for child over the phone

I raised complaint twice but both times they let the lawyer go who was clearly blackmailing us to negotiate in favour of their client even in absence of signed contract with them or else they will claim damages and litigate and court will decide in their favour only and was in breach of many laws like asking us to sign contract in a conflict of interest situation. Law Society let that lawyer go scot free, but in another similar case published they found another lawyer guilty of blackmailing. We do feel as is feedback from some lawyers, they are racist and thats why they let that lawyer go.. whereas found another one guilty ...Ironically when we mentioned that they are trying to save their lawyer and are biased, the reviewer remarked rudely on that but just a couple of days after there is an article in media how Law Society is just a bunch of lawyers saving each other.. They should be stripped of their rights...as per Law Society all lawyers interpret laws differently whereas it can mean a world of difference to someone, so for one lawyer it can be 1+1=2 but for another it is 1+1=11???

Whats the point of the NZ Law Society ?Alot of legal aid lawyers on their website do not do legal aid even though it says so .After 5 months of waiting my file has been closed because I couldnt produce any documentation because my lawyer wont return them and refuses to resign .This is now the result of this mess with nothing being done about it (anxiety and depression aside).....All of Mum & Dads & my hard work gone to waste ,controlled by an incopetant sibling with backup from his wife & her Whanau ,taking all the blame for their F ups .Close to $130k in debt ,Inheritance loss of more than $ 1 million ,About to lose my house I have been in since 1980 ,Living in hardship with no hot water ,no running water ,no stove ,no tv ,no heating ,no insulation and the roof leaks .Bearing in mind this house is 102 years old .Difficulty finding a lawyer who deals with these matters let alone finding legal aid on a sickness benefit .5 years and still I have no inheritence and no help or support .I'm glad my parents aren't here to see this mess .Thanks guys, you rock .Blessed .

I even won't give a star but have too, otherwise I cannot post it. The man I have spoken on the phone did not give a qualified opinion. He was rude and hang up after 1 min. He said, if you are not happy with your lawyer and the lawyer with you then change. Thank you for the conversation! Avoid them, they are not there to help clients they need help, they are there to drive you down. Someone has to tell them for what they are there for! Really disappointing!

Multiple phone calls & attempts to have someone pick up phone!! Gave up in despair..What do these people actually do??NZ Law Society need to get their act together.Can be arrogant rude unhelpful and offer nothing to consumers needing a few minutes guidence.How would they handle a complaint about one of their members??Writing a letter of complaint to The Minister of Justice may be the answer.
