Worst burger in 25 years of eating at burgerfuel. I asked for a customised burger (a bacon backfire but on the smaller burger bun of mini chook royale, & with crispy bacon.) I got a mini chook royal with seasoned tenderloins instead of grilled chicken breast, nearly raw bacon, unmelted cheese and got charged for the price of bacon backfire!! Not impressed !!!!

Update 18 April 2023:The salad has become heaps of iceberg and 2 paper thin slices of tomato and 3 little onion rings.Chips including more pieces at the bottom.I'd like to say one-time thing, but it's 3 in a row at least.

Love burgerfuel but sadly I find each time I order online for a certain pickup time at the papamoa branch I arrive at the correct time and then they start making my order from the point of me entering the store, If I wanted that I may aswell order instore and not waste my time ordering online. Fairly poor really has happened multiple times.

1:star because the others thought their Kai was just ok. Me not so much never had BF before won't be again. Hugely disappointed in my kai I have photos of how slapped together my burger was including brown lettuceMinimal filling. Totally over rated and particularly overpriced. Gutted

Food was great, the my chocolate milkshake tasted like the wrong flavour. The espresso shake tasted just like poorly mixed milk and coffee syrup bit other than that, food and service was great, pricy but worth it

Food was glorious, we make our own burgers but was too lazy 2nite and wanted to try the 'wild heart' burger, omg was so delish, congrats burger King paps, you rock! Will eat that again and again

Good service. Outside seating area if music is too loud/not to your taste. Smash fries/bites tasty, and they've currently got some 'rescued Cherry' sparkling drink using Central Otago cherry juice. Nice and refreshing!

This would have to be the third or fourth time I’ve had Burger Fuel from Papamoa and I decided, based on the consistent excellent standard, it was worth a review. My Favourite Husband is away for the night, so I can be a pig. I can eat highly calorific, deep fried deliciousness with no witnesses. Often takeaways and burgers can be a bit hit and miss. But these have always been good. Fresh ingredients, great taste, order always right, hot, freshly made and the kumara fries crispy and well seasoned. The service was friendly and the order was ready on time. Well done Papamoa
