Table at Monks Cafe
Customer service was excellent. Staff were authentically friendly and polite. The food was great, the waffles were an adventure of flavour with each element being carefully planned. They were more complex than simply throwing toppings over a waffle. The classic breakfast was just that. The eggs were perfectly poached. Classic breakfast was well seasoned and generous in portion. Would absolutely come back.

Nice atmosphere for this cosy cafe close to the playground. The outdoor sitting area is nice if you have dogs (they do provide free doggy treats). But when we were there, there was a bit of a stench outside and the hedge trimmer started working so we had to move inside. Food was great and staff were so nice and friendly. Inside was a little stuffy, so would prefer a bit of air flow. Overall very nice place!

Great breakfast with decent portions. Everything tasted really fresh. Coffee was good too.Plenty of free street parking, if not there’s a playground carpark just opposite of the cafe.

This place is lovely, as soon as we walked in we were friendly greeted by a staff member and she let us know about the short wait time. Food was really well priced and delicious! Staff were very efficient and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back here again!

Great cafe below our accommodation. Great pride taken in the service offered and the food and drink presented.Perfect tasting coffees and hot chocolates, overly generous food portions (the burger was just amazing!) and service with a smile.Well done! :)

Table at Monks Cafe
We only chose Monks Cafe as we were staying in the apartment above and it was convenient. I said to my partner, we’ll give that place a chance.We definitely weren’t disappointed and we will breakfast here again tomorrow morning.We both had scrambled eggs and toast which were perfect. Sina had roast potato as a side, they were perfect and I got halloumi as a side, it too was very nice.Definitely recommended

Food delicious. Really enjoyed the veggie breakfast. They could have been a bit more generous with the hollandaise sauce. Great atmosphere. Fantastic service.

Table at Monks Cafe
I really enjoyed this cosy cafe. The noise level was nice and you can have a conversation with the person you are with. The coffee is good and the staff are really nice and friendly. The food is beautiful and I just can't recommend this cafe highly enough. Very sweet and comfortable. Great experience.
