Wouldn’t give this place 1 star if possible. The Asian server girl giving the ice cream served it to me like it’s charity. The scoop size was 1/3 of what’s normally served in Nz standards. Paid $9. Wouldn’t recommend.

Extremely bad service. Went to get ice cream after the spa. Ice cream scoops were very small and the server kept on dropping the ice cream. Went playing she could not figure out what we had bought , got the bill wrong and charged extra. Had to go back to ask for the extra money she had charged back.

A lovely café inside the Polynesian Spa. Staff members are friendly, and their food are great including their cabinet food. They also have gelato and sorbet. A great way to refresh yourself after having your hot bath in the geothermal spa.

Worst service. Ordered and then waited 45min watching every other table get served before us. Went up and asked how long it will be - was told another 15min. But turns out they cancelled the order. I then had to prove to them that I had ordered it. Don’t go here unless you like waiting for food that never turns up.

Worst service I have even experienced in nz. Wanted to get ice cream after bathing. The girl in the cafe was extremely impatient and angry. She literally threw the receipt to my face. Called polynesian Spa afterwards, but no one picked up.

You don't have to go in to the Polynesian Spa pools to enjoy the cafe. Their freshly blended smoothies and gelato are insanely good (they have won awards for their gelato) and cabinet food looked fresh and inviting (I only had a smoothie but plan to go back for food with friends). Friendly staff, cool atmosphere and the shop is very nice. Loads of high end goodies to spoil yourself with. Highly recommend.

Little, simple Cafe inside the Polynesian Spa (before the paid area).Friendly staff, and tasty quick food. A few salads, sandwiches, a soup, they have enough choices.Was impressed by their huge selection of ice-cream.
