I am definitely transferring my child to this school. I love how accommodating and reasonable the owner is. We have tried out a class last year because I am in the process of looking for a new music school for my child. It happened to be their last class of the year then and apart from some great musical lessons the children were treated with a fun gingerbread decorating activity. Although my child, not being used to this class and was reluctant to transfer to this music school, she did enjoy it.The management is so flexible in terms of schedule and payments and so easy to talk to.

Absolutely cannot recommend enough!!!! Miss Jaimie is incredible with the children and has gone above and beyond to keep classes going no matter what! Either online or in class, Miss Jaime is the best!!! Thank you!!

A lovely place to go lots to look at and reasonably good prices

When I first visited the school to get information about piano lessons for my five years old, I left sure that this was the place. Nevertheless, my wife insisted that we visit other schools. Useless. My son had two terms of piano classes with Mrs. Jamie at MSI Christchurch. He was very welcome even though he didn't speak English at the time. He really enjoyed the lessons (although my wife says that I enjoyed the lessons even more than he did). I have the feeling that the other children in the class as well as the other parents enjoyed as much as we did. The classes are very dynamic and beyond simply piano lessons. The children have a full initiation to music, practicing the piano, but also melody, rhythm, tuning, singing, theory (suitable for their age, of course.) The studio is well equipped and has a great atmosphere. The lessons progress in a good pace and very soon my son was playing nicely with both hands. Very often he would spontaneously start singing the notes, be it in the car on the way to school or in a path on the mountains. It is a pitty we are moving and he will not be able to continue. It is going to be hard to find a replacement" at the same level."

We love Music School International Christchurch. They have a fun and engaging curriculum taught by a wonderful teacher. Highly recommend!
