Clippers Cutting Bar

Definitely Five stars, have had my hair done here for as long as I've lived in Hawera. Will even wait if there's an hour long line, had a pretty bad experience across the road at the other barbers one day when Clippers was too full. I asked the guy at the other shop if he had any space and he told me that they had no space that day. I went to have a quick look in the jewelers next door and when I came out I overheard somebody asking If they could squeeze him in" they told him they could and the only conclusion I've been able to come to is that the worker is perhaps homophobic? It definitely wasn't a race thing because I've seen many other Māori in there. I suppose workers should of course be free to refuse people service(Especially in cases where customers display rude behaviour and abuse towards staff) but it left me feeling embarrassed and I try my hardest to even avoid that side of the road now. This is the main reason I stick to going to Clippers now

Hi.. As we were attending to both us having out haircut we casually commented that we had just been entertaining at the local Resthome and the lovely staff at clippers got us both to sing a couple numbers to all customers. Great... Loved it.. Cheers.... Trevor ...

I was new to this store and was very impressed jot only with the store itself but also with the staff.I had my hair cut by a lady named Ria and she was amazing she listened to what I wanted and did a superb job on cutting my hairy confidence in her ability has made me decide to use this company as my forever barber thank you Ria for your amazing service.

Great, my son went from long to short. The barber took his time spoke with my son throughout the whole process. Even offered examples and suggestions before starting which were greatly appreciated and helpful. Offered style advice and suggestions once finished. Over all fantastic experience. We will be back .
