We ordered 4 different take aways, all were terrible am afraid to say.Bread was stale, cheese untasty. Hotdog had to be thrown away and our kids generally eat almost anything.- I would avoid if you can.

Parnassus Roadhouse
Staying at the Parnassus MCA and decided to stretch our legs. We came across the Road House which does fuel, coffee, ice cream, hot and cold food, woodcraft and honey. Friendly staff and a great way to support local. We only had an ice cream but now we know it's there will try their food on another trip.

Fantastic coffee and homemade food. Stop here whenever I get the opportunity to travel to Christchurch or back to Picton.

Random, wee stop on our way to Christchurch. The woman working was super nice and friendly. They had a really good sausage roll and a stellar carrots cake muffin. Will happily stop there again on our next trip.

Great place to stop on the road to Christchurch. Chicken wrap was delicious and very fresh as were the rolls we bought. Wonderful friendly staff. X
