Very nice spot at the northern side mouth of the Kaipara Harbour. If you go at low tide you can drive up the beach in 4x4. Light House is a fair distance down the beach but a nice hike.

Beautiful walk along the coast to the Lighthouse. Started out early before the day got too hot. Take water and kai and wear comfortable walking footwear.
