Darren worked on a series of caricatures for the girls leaving our 1stXI hockey team. To say they were a smash hit is such an understatement! The feedback last night was incredible – not just gasps of surprise but laughter and screams and tears (good ones)! Also not just from the girls but the parents as well.So many comments about how Darren captured the personalities of the girls so well. The girls and their parents just loved them. So special so personal. Still getting texts and emails this morning about how much the girls are treasuring them.Been great working with you on this project, you made it very straightforward. I had Darren do a cartoon for my dad’s 70th some years back, and he loved it so much I had no hesitation following with another for my mum. Darren listened to my idea and carefully considered all the elements I wanted in the portrait. Great job both times!
