Great place to stay in Wānaka. Mark the host was really friendly and would go the extra mile to make us feel welcome.Rooms were a little smaller than I expected, but they were warm and cozy and just fine for us!

the guy who runs this place is the star. super friendly, sincere and helpful. the apartment’s decor is kind of 70s, but very cosy. bedrooms are heated. bathroom is super clean and well equipped. location is great too - near the lakefront area.

Nice and close to town, friendly staff. Cedar hot pools looked lovely with good views, thou we didnt use because it was summer.We had one of the chalets and it was just right for what we needed.

The rooms were neat and the place was near city Center making it accessible to many locations around wanaka.The owners of the motel were kind and checking if we need any help to make our trip better.All in all a very nice place to stay in :)

Really nice host's , well set out room's, close to the lake but quite .Clean & tidy.Hot tubs nice views , great soak.

Absolutely great place to stay,Comfortable from the beds to the lounge.New spacious bathroom hot pool was amazing on the top of the hill.On arrival we were surprised to be upgraded to a three bedroom.Hosts were very welcoming.I CANNOT fault this motel ,My best stay on our trip down here,if we were not committed , we would have stayed longer.I've finally found the first motel ever to be spacious and seat the amount of people that a room caters too.The only problem, is leaving..Thankyou jack and joey

Absolutely blew us away with their hospitality. The rooms exceeded our expectations and were miles better than some of our more expensive stays. My children wished they could stay there for the rest of the trip and we were left regretting not booking another night there. Mark was very friendly and we had a great chat about all things NZ and in Australian. If you are in the area, highly recommend you book with them, you will not be disappointed!

Awesome family run place to stay in Wanaka and very friendly and accommodating property owners. Our baby was unwell so they went above and beyond to give us priority access to rooms. It surely felt like a homestay rather than your typical motels. If we ever visit Wanaka again, we will be staying at archway

M8 this is quite possibly the best motel that I've ever stayed in. Clean, comfortable, with bells and whistles that outshine many hotel rooms. Plus, it's only a short walk into town from the model. Really redefines what a motel is, can be, and should be.10/10 would recommend.

We like everything about Archway Motel. Upon check in, we were welcomed by Mark who provided a lot of useful information about Wanaka. The room itself was well equipped and clean. The room size is smaller than we expected. We had 1 large luggage and 1 small one. Barely had space to open both of them. Not sure why but the room smelled very nice and fresh even after 3 days of staying. The toilet was spacious and sufficient towels were provided. The location is excellent. Just 10minutes walk to town center and 5 minutes walk to 51 Brownston street which has the food trucks. Will definitely recommend to anyone coming to Wanaka
