Staff are lovely. Helped us to fit our new capsule - I thought I had it right but Jo knew exactly how to get it perfect. Gave us real confidence that our little bundle will be protected. We will definately come back here when we are looking for a car seat.

I had to buy a new carseat for my toddler, the ladies in the store were extremely helpful and knew exactly what they were talking about. They recommended a product and explained why but also provided price alternatives on either side. Good banter and a friendly atmosphere, Will definitely be returning for my next purchase.

I bought the Beco 8 on recommendation from the store. Once home, I found it uncomfortable and it did not fit myself or my partner well so I requested a return. The store insisted I was wearing it incorrectly so I went to the store three times to try various different setups, but the same problems continued. I had to tighten the waist belt so much that it restricted walking. Looser, it dropped down and hits the top of your legs. The carrier is bulky. The clips are basic. I bought a Baby Bjorn carrier in the end but wasted $280 as the store refused to exchange it when initially asked.

Fantastic friendly staff who really know their products. I had to buy a gift for a baby shower and as my kids are now teenagers had no idea what to get. The staff at BOTM Thorndon were super friendly and helpful and found me the perfect gift that was very well received! Would definitely shop there again :-)

It’s such a welcoming store to step foot into. The customer service is always outstanding and the staff always go above & beyond to meet your needs. Couldn’t recommend baby on the move Thorndon more!

We vistied the store yesterday as have nothing organised for baby yet. We were super appreciative of the lovely lady who showed us the strollers, and front packs. She was really informative and genuine. We didn't buy anything however we left the shop with a good idea of what we are going to need. cant remember her name but she has a 2 year old so spoke from experience . Thank you

I am so pleased and thankful for accommodating my urgent request.They respond very quickly. I have purchased an electric breast pump online and it went thru the other branch. I am exclusively pumping and my current pump had broken. Unfortunately the other branch cannot able to deliver it overnight and advised me to ring the Wellington branch if they have available and can do express ship.I rang them & happily to assist me with my request. Quickly, they have arranged for the courier to be picked up today and do the saturday delivery without additional cost. This made my day & lessen my stress (new mum blues)You will definitely be my first choice when I need some stuffs for my as mum & for my baby.Thank you again and special mention to Jo.

Weird vibe here. The ladies working weren’t helpful/didn’t ask if they could help. Seemed like they didn’t really know how to interact with people until an older white couple came in, and they were all over them. If I hadn’t needed the products I bought, I wouldn’t have spent a cent here. Much better service through a bot online.

As a recent new mum I went in needing help.. I was extremely impressed with the kindness and support of staff. The staff member who helped me went above and beyond and I could not recommend them enough. Thank you to the lovely lady who helped me (I'm so sorry I forgot your name, I'm sleep deprived!). You were so kind to me, and helpful with products and I will definitely be back to see you guys again.

An unfortunate phone conversation where I was laughed at and then hung up on without acknowledgment-no exaggeration!Upon asking for help with an online order (two different prices) I asked if the store was able to honour the list price. I was promptly dismissed saying the price wasn’t as I has stated, should refresh my page otherwise would have to screenshot and send, which I was happy to do. Upon talking through where the sale price was listed I was told I was clearly wrong. I stated the wrong store name by accident when explaining exactly where I was looking at this price, although was 100% speaking with the intended store, then was scoffed at.Perhaps this person was having a busy day, however this was an appalling customer service experience.In the end I contacted another branch and had the total opposite experience with a retailer who took my genuine customer query professionally.A missed sale for the Wellington branch of a substantial ticket item.
