From the moment they sledge-hammered the first old concrete planter box, we knew that Calum and his team were the right guys for the job. Despite a year of delays thanks to endless rain, supply chain, and COVID-19, they managed to deliver our extensive landscaping project just in time for Christmas 2022. They were warm, friendly and (excuse the pun) down to earth. They really cared about our project and making sure we were informed at every step. They put up with my jokes, and even ate my mediocre baking when it was offered. Calum was realistic and managed our expectations early on. And when the realities of our site conflicted with the plan prepared by our landscape designer, he offered a range of alternatives. The team also worked in well with the other professionals who were on site at the same time. Our property is transformed, and we are so happy with the result!

Green Republic completely remodelled our back yard to accommodate a new swimming pool in the first half of 2023. They contoured & filled with large volumes of various rock types, built a timber retaining wall along with large concrete terraces and steps, installing decorative stone surfaces. They installed drainage hoses, a sump,fencing & a gate before topsoiling and grassing.Their design, estimating and co-ordination with other suppliers was excellent. Communication, flexibility and technical ability were first class despite challenging weather and a boggy site. I have no hesitation recommending Calum's company as one with great integrity and skill that shows agility when faced with the inevitable changes of practical lanscaping. When investing large dollar sums in your section, everyone needs value and excellence. Green Republic delivered both.

We engaged Green Republic in late 2020 to overhaul and replant the front of our section. We cannot speak highly enough of their professional approach, leading to a great result. Their knowledge and skills are first rate with extraordinary attention to detail. They completed cleared the area and created a blank canvas for planting, laying a paving stone walkway, relaying the cobblestone driveway, laying a lawn and installing a drainage and irrigation system. We highly recommend Calum and his team, who renovated our large kitchen garden area, installed a quite large contoured gravel area that had to be dug out by hand (and they did that large job without looking miserable), and built large and high-raised garden beds, etc etc. It is his relational approach that makes all the difference. Calum listens very carefully and respectfully to what you want, makes thoughtful suggestions, tries to limit the cost, keeps in touch, and as a team they take pride in doing the work properly, all the while with a good sense of humour.
