I haven't been here in ages... I remember coming here in the late 80s and early 90s right through to now and it is still the best bakery overall...Service is friendly but sufficient, I walked in on Tuesday and it was like I was 10years old all over...

Often stop here when we're heading out of Auckland. Love the bacon and egg pie! Lamingtons are yum. Great for birthday cakes.

Ask anyone in Mangere about Windmill Bakery on the corner of Wickman Way and Garus Ave. They will tell you about the mud cakes, the rolls, the pies, even the catering services. Overall, I enjoyed the food and service.
