Just left after sampling banquet What a treat will definitely be back before returning home to Scotland Waitresses were so prompt and pleasant Chef came round to see how we enjoyed meal too All round between fantastic food and service we are 100% coming back Also well stocked bar Well done staff

Our 2nd time at Cigol and we opted for the Banquet menu. What an absolute delight!! From start to finish the service and food was top class, could not have asked for any better. The wait staff were diligent, friendly and very helpful and there was minimal to zero wait times between dishes which was a perfect pace for how the menu is set up. The owner or manager visited our table twice to check in and it was clear he was genuinely invested in people having a great visit. Major kudos to the kitchen, the food was an experience, not just a meal. Everything was cooked wonderfully, perfectly seasoned and presented absolutely beautifully! We are already planning our next visit and we are so looking forward to it!!

Had a delicious meal at Cigol last night. Food was brought out a plate or 2 at a time which was brilliant. Every plate was so yummy. My fav was the Korean chicken and the pork belly. Nyum nyum. The staff were all so friendly and seemed to be really happy in their work. Nice place, tasty food, great people.

While the flavors are delicious, the vibe of the room is comfortable, this is about where the delight ends. In the first photo you have the kfc" Korean fired chicken with lotus chips

Creative menu using Korean influences. The price on some (mainly vege) items was tending on the high side however this was somewhat redeemed by the menu's surprisingly tasteful flavours. Probably the town's better restaurant.

Cigol, we have no words but how STUNNING. We booked the entire venue out with 65 people for our Parents Wedding anniversary and Ryan and the team went above and beyond with their food, service, and just enhanced the whole night for us in every way they possibly could. We were served the banquet and the food seemed endless. The food quality is top tier and our friends and family were so impressed with these incredibly gourmet tasty dishes. We could not fault one dish. The drinks were amazing, the facilities were clean and the service team is just the kindest as well. Thank you so much Ryan and the team! This is our favourite place!

Wow probably the best Asian fusion restaurant I’ve ever been to! Any likely the top restaurant in NZ. Highly recommend and such a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back. Everything on the menu was heavenly.
